I. How to connect your Magento to your Shipup account

We connect to Magento via API. The connection is secure and gives only a right to read. The integration is limited to creating a role with limited rights and a dedicated web service. There is no risk of edge effects. It is necessary that you trace back your parcel numbers well in Magento.

Integration start here: https://app.shipup.co/apps/new/magento

Don't forget to click "Done" on the top right corner to get to the next step

Step 1 : Create a limited and read-only role for Shipup

Once the role is created, go back to Shipup and click 'Done' on the top right corner

Step 2 : Create a web service user for Shipup and Magento

Once the web service is created, go back to Shipup and click "Done" on the top right corner

Note: Integration may not work if the orders table has been modified

II. Which orders are imported in Shipup?

Shipup will only import the orders with the following states in Magento: processing, complete, and closed. If you have custom status, please contact us at success@shipup.co or via chat.

III. Troubleshooting Magento app installation

Should you encounter any error during the installation of Shipup's Magento app, below you'll find a few steps that might help getting back on the right track.

1. Invalid url error

Make sure that the url you're sending is the main url of your store and not one that redirects to your store. Basic syntax errors such as forgetting the "www" part of the url or using "http://" instead of "https://" might be the reason of the error.

Also, the root of the store should be sent, please do not include any custom route:

good:  https://www.mystore.com

bad: https://mystore.com/admin, http://mystore.com/soap

2. Invalid API key or url error

Please make sure you created the webservice role and user with the correct info, and that you correctly linked the role to the user.

3. I successfully created my app but don't see any package imported

Please verify that the store id provided is the one your orders are registered on. Shipup will only import your packages once per hour (plus once at app creation) and will only import orders where a tracking number can be found (tracking numbers need to be added in the "shipment" tab of the order").

4. My orders are well integrated but the product visuals are not displayed

In your Magento app, go on : System > Web Services > S0AP - Role.
Then, edit Shipup role by checking the box  "Product Images" in "Role Ressources".
