This article covers these topics :

  1. Modify credentials on the general set-up
  2. Modify credentials on the notifications set-up
  3. Modify credentials on the Feedback set-up

1. Modify credentials on the general set-up

Shipup is directly connected to support apps such as Gorgias or Zendesk. These integrations allow Shipup to send real-time information to your support team on packages.

To establish a connection with your support application, Shipup needs two types of credentials:

  • The agent email: Should be the same email you use to login to administer your Zendesk account.
  • The API keys: used for your Zendesk and Gorgias apps.

The departure of one of your collaborators, an organizational team change, or even a new technical configuration can lead to a modification of these credentials. The consequence will be that Shipup can no longer send information on your support app account.

How can I update the credentials?

  • Go on Configure > Apps or click here
  • Then click on Zendesk app > configure
  • The window below appears and you can directly update the credentials

The agent email will be prefilled with the current value but the API Token field will be left empty (for security purposes).

2. Modify credentials on the notifications set-up

Once you did the modification on the general set-up of Zendesk app, you have to check and complete for each notification on which Zendesk is activated, the following fields (Click HERE):

  • Zendesk account: On which you receive the alerts from Shipup
  • Ticket subject and ticket description: Set by default on Shipup but you can customize them
  • Assignee: In case you have several agents on the Zendesk account

Warning: If you send notifications in different languages, you have to do the same modification on each notification for each language

To switch from one language to another, click on the flag on the top right corner

3. Modify credentials on the Feedback set-up

If the Feedback feature is activated, you must also do the modification at this level:

-> Go to Settings > Feeback or click directly HERE. The modifications to do are the same as it is for the notifications section:

  • Zendesk account: On which you receive the alerts from Shipup
  • Assignee: In case you have several agents on the Zendesk account

** Mandatory fields are indicated with a red asterisk
