The promise is used on the tracking page to calculate the "estimated delivery date" and it is also used to trigger the late package notification. 

You can modify the promise per carrier  from the setting > general menu

There are 3 ways to set a promise:

  • First, you can fix the promise in business day and decide to include or not the weekends. 
  • Second, you can let Shipup use the promised date provided by shipping carrier API. This only works with carriers that have such an API.
  • Third, you can provide us with your own promise using our API, for technical info you just need to contact hello@shipup.co.
